Delete Your Data — DetoxSage

DetoxSage is a privacy-first Android app developed by Vinay Teki (as listed on the Google Play store listing). This page explains how to delete data associated with your use of the DetoxSage app.

We do not operate servers that store your screen time, journey, friction notes, or watched-app list.

1. Delete coaching data on your device

DetoxSage stores coaching data locally in an encrypted database on your phone. We never upload it to our servers.

Deleted when you uninstall or clear storage:

• Screen time for apps you chose to watch
• Your watched-app list
• Journey and coach settings (modes, goals, plan length)
• Friction notes and YouTube session intent tags
• Local subscription access cache

Option A — Uninstall DetoxSage

1. Open Android Settings
2. Go to Apps → DetoxSage
3. Tap Uninstall

All app data on your device is removed.

Option B — Clear app storage (keep the app installed)

1. Open Android Settings
2. Go to Apps → DetoxSage
3. Tap Storage (or Storage & cache)
4. Tap Clear storage or Clear data

This resets DetoxSage as if freshly installed. Deletion is immediate — we do not retain copies on our servers because coaching data never leaves your device.

2. Delete optional telemetry (if you opted in)

Telemetry is off by default. If you enabled Help improve DetoxSage in You → Privacy, anonymous crash reports and product events may have been sent to Google Firebase (Crashlytics and Analytics).

Stop future collection:

1. Open DetoxSage → You tab → Privacy
2. Turn off Help improve DetoxSage

Request deletion of data already sent to Firebase:

Email vinayteki95@gmail.com with the subject DetoxSage data deletion request. Include:

• That you want opt-in telemetry deleted
• The Google account on the device (if you are comfortable sharing it), or the approximate date you enabled telemetry

We will process requests within 30 days. Firebase/Google may retain some diagnostic data under their own policies — see Google’s Privacy Policy.

What telemetry does not include: screen time totals, app package names, friction note text, or other coaching content.

3. Subscription and payment data

Subscriptions are processed by Google Play. DetoxSage does not receive or store your payment card details.

To cancel a subscription or manage billing records:

1. Open Google Play Store
2. Tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
3. Select DetoxSage and follow Google’s steps

Purchase history held by Google is governed by Google Play’s policies.

4. Data we do not hold

Because DetoxSage has no user accounts and no cloud backend for coaching data, we cannot look up or delete coaching data from a server — it exists only on your device until you uninstall or clear storage.

We do not collect:

• Name, email, phone, or login credentials
• Contacts, photos, messages, or location
• Screen content or accessibility text
