These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the DetoxSage mobile application (“App”) published on Google Play by Vinay Teki (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

DetoxSage is a digital wellbeing coaching tool. It helps you gradually reduce time in apps you choose through daily ranges, journey planning, and optional step-in coaching.
DetoxSage is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. If you have concerns about compulsive device use or mental health, consult a qualified professional.
DetoxSage does not require an account. Your coaching data is stored on your device only.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to online services) to use the App. If you are under 18, you should use the App with a parent or guardian’s permission.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Google Play’s terms.
You may not:
DetoxSage offers a subscription (“DetoxSage Premium”) with optional free trial through Google Play Billing.
When your subscription or trial is not active, some App features (such as full Today and You tabs and live coaching overlays) may be limited as described in the App. The Journey tab may remain visible with reduced usage detail.
The App requires certain Android permissions (usage access, accessibility, notifications, and others) to function as described. You are responsible for enabling or disabling these permissions on your device.
We are not responsible for device manufacturer restrictions (battery optimization, autostart lists, etc.) that may affect background behavior on some phones.
Notes, intent tags, and settings you enter in the App are stored on your device. We do not upload them to our servers.
You retain ownership of content you create. You grant us only the rights needed to store and display it locally to provide the App.

You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to bypass coaching features in ways that violate these Terms or applicable law, or using the App in a manner that could harm us, other users, or third parties.
The App, Sage mascot, design, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee that the App will reduce your screen time, meet your goals, or operate without interruption or errors.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and canceling any subscription in Google Play.
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or if required by law or app store policy.
We may update these Terms. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India, unless your local law requires a different forum for consumers.
